Adam Owen - Head of Sports Science
CROSSING the Old Firm divide is all too common these days and fitness expert Adam is another example having spent a large portion of his career at Parkhead.
The Welshman, who played League of Wales football, has a degree in Sports Science and worked in the youth set-up at Celtic where he was spotted by Kenny McDowall.
The Rangers first team coach rated Adam very highly and when he left to go and work for Sheffield Wednesday, McDowall hoped their paths would cross again.
When Kenny then joined Rangers he recommended Adam to Walter Smith and he joined Rangers in March 2007.
Owen has gradually been working his thoughts into training sessions and it will be the summer when pre-season begins that his ideas will really be put into practice.
