Nacho Novo at the Kirkintilloch Supporters' ClubThe Kirkintilloch Rangers Supporters Club celebrated their 60th Anniversary last week with the help of two Rangers favourites past and present.

The Kirkie members were joined at their premises in Luggiebank Road, Kirkintilloch by Barca Bear and honorary member, Alex McDonald.

And current fans favourite Nacho Novo put in a surprise appearance as the Kirkie Rangers fans celebrated in style.

Nacho surprised the crowd by presenting the Club with his UEFA Champions League shirt from the match against Barcelona.

Alex McDonald presented the Kirkie Rangers with a framed, signed European Cup Winners' Cup top and Rangers FC presented the Club with a framed top signed by the entire current squad.

The occasion helped mark the Club's fantastic achievement of passing 60 years since their formation and Club President Davy Staward thanked Alex, Nacho and Rangers for their gifts.

Fans liason Jim Hannah said: "Special thanks go to Davy Watson who has done an enormous amount of work for the Kirkintilloch RSC for more years than I can remember."

Hutton receives his player of the year awardThere were also special days for fans at Ibrox as a number of Supporters' Clubs have started to present their own player of the year trophies as 2007 draws to a close.

Up for awards so far in December have been right back Alan Hutton and goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

Allan McGregor receives his Player of the Year award from fansHutton was honoured by the Ipswich Loyal RSC before the Hearts game on December 15th, with club members Craig Thomson, Brian McGuinnes, Ben Ramsey and Brian Menzies making the trip to meet their choice for player of the year and present him with a trophy to mark the occasion.

Travelling even further to meet their pick of the squad for 2007 were the Costa Blanca Loyal who flew in from Spain to present Allan McGregor with their Player of the Year trophy.

Making the trip from sunnier climes, Steve Playle, Iain Henderson, John Thorpe and Andrew Duncan met with the Gers numer one before this month's match with Kilmarnock at Ibrox.
