TRIBUTES have poured in from Rangers Fans Worldwide who were saddened to hear of the death of John Begg who died on Saturday 11th October after his short fight against cancer.

John had been a Rangers supporter all his life and was one of the founder members of the Renfrew Loyal which was later to become the Crimson Loyal RSC.

When the Rangers supporters clubs decided to get together to formerly register themselves with the Club John was part of the first Committee and went on to become the Secretary of the Rangers Worldwide Alliance and the Rangers Supporters Assembly.

John was a member of lots of different organisations and on the Committee of most but one of his favourite pastimes was his Bowling Club in Renfrew and latterly he resigned from his positions with the Worldwide Alliance and the Rangers Supporters Assembly to devote more time to the Bowling Club after he was elected President.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Heather and two sons Eric and John as well as other family members including friends and members of the Rangers Family.

The Funeral will take place on Friday 17th October at the Renfrew Parish Church, High Street, Renfrew, at 9.00am and at 10.00am at the Woodside Crematorium, 46 Broomlands Street, Paisley.
