Barry Ferguson is the only current Rangers player voted into the Hall of Fame.

Fiery, passionate and superbly skillful, Ferguson led the Light Blues to a glorious Treble and their 50th title in 2003.

Barry, whose elder brother Derek was a Rangers star in the 80s, joined the club straight from school and was handed his top team debut aged 19 by Walter Smith at the end of season 96/97.

The arrival of Dick Advocaat the following year fast-tracked Ferguson's development and he helped Gers to the treble in 1999.

A Scotland international, Ferguson became Gers captain in October 2000 and led the team to the treble in Alex McLeish's first full campaign at the club.

A great leader by example and a terrific passer of the ball, he left Rangers to join Blackburn Rovers for £7.25million having made 231 appearances.

But he returned to begin a new phase of his career with his boyhood heroes in January 2005 and went on to help the club win the league and the CIS Cup in his first four months back at Ibrox.

So far he has collected four SPL titles, three Scottish Cups and four League Cups.
