Alex Scott

A HUGELY talented and influential player both at home and in Europe having had the arduous task of replacing Willie Waddell on the right wing.

Scott had pace and power and scored a remarkable 103 goals, which included 12 in Europe - a record that was not broken by Ally McCoist until 1996. Moved to Everton where he won league and FA Cup honours. Sadly died in September 2002 at just 64
