WALTER SMITH'S Rangers squad touched down in Italy this afternoon ahead of their huge UEFA Cup semi-final clash with Fiorentina tomorrow.

David Weir was among the travelling players and hopes are raised that he may make an appearance against the Viola after a groin injury.
