I'm delighted with the capture of Mendez, Edu and Davis and possibly Bresciano.

But I still feel we need a good young centre back to partner Bougherra and I think the manager and chairman should seriously look at a £2m bid for Christophe Berra from Hearts.

Madjid BougherraI think he would be a magic signing for Rangers and would really shore up our defence.

Kenny MacLennan, Inverness-Shire

I have been to watch two friendly games, the Kaunas game, and the Hearts game and although I was disappointed that cuellar had left, after watching the Hearts game it was a much improved performance compared to the previous games.

I feel that Bougherra is just as good if not better than Cuellar as he can also pass a ball as well as defend.

I would also like the boo boys to get off Kenny Miller's back, since he has put our jersey on he has played his heart out for us and although he has not scored, the work rate and assists he has put in is unquestionable.

The signing so far have also been well thought out and have improved our squad.

I would like to congratulate the team for the positive start to the SPL campaign.

I am very pleased with the impact Pedro Mendes and Kyle Lafferty have made but my only concern is for our youth policy.

With several new signings on the horizon including Davis and Mendes how are outstanding young lads such as Furman and Fleck going to get a chance. John Fleck

This is what Murray Park was set up for and it would be a shame to see them leave without having been given an opportunity in the first-team.

I would like to start by saying well done to the team, the effort put in against Falkirk and Hearts has been rewarded.

While it has been a difficult couple of weeks it's good to see the team still winning.

I thought Pedro Mendes was head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch on Saturday considering he probably only met most of the team hours earlier.

He looks to be exactly what we have been needing.

Good luck to Pedro, Steve Davis and Maurice Edu, all a step in the right direction.

As gutted as I am about Carlos Cuellar leaving, big Bougherra Looks a good signing. Remember THE CLUB IS GREATER THAN THE MAN!

Lets get right behind the team for the rest of the season.

Maurice EduI have been a critic of Rangers over the last few weeks, however with two league games gone and maximum points taken, things are certainly looking up.

There will, however, be tougher challenges ahead with two tricky away trips to Aberdeen and Celtic.

The season could not have got off to a worse start, with defeat in Kaunas and the sale of King Carlos but the new signings, in particular Pedro Mendes look like excellent additions.

I still find some aspects disappointing though, why were no midfielders signed before the Euro qualifiers?

We know from experience how tough these games can be and especially with Barry missing, this left a massive hole in our midfield.

We have now lost out on European football, the great Euro nights at home and abroad (I had some great nights last year), it just seems this could have been avoided with the signing of a "Steven Davis" type player earlier.

On the plus side we can now concentrate on bringing the League Flag back to Ibrox where it belongs, with the current team and a couple of additions we should be on the right track.

THOUGH an exiled Scot living in England for the last 24 years, I follow Rangers fortunes with the same passion when I first started following them in 1963!  Walter Smith

The Kaunas result was a disaster but sometimes this can be a catalyst for a change in fortunes.

Since then, Smith has been allowed to bring in Mendes, Aaron, Edu and probably Davis. Don't know if Bresciano remains a target.

With Lafferty, Miller and Velicka already signed and Ferguson, Burke and Naismith to return from injury over the next few months, things are looking much better squad-wise - even better than last season!

I have to say that I'm not a Kenny Miller fan, but I hope he proves me wrong!

I can see a midfield with Beasley wide left and Mendes, Edu and Davis across the middle. I'd like to see Lafferty and Boyd given an extended starting run up front.

I think we need one more central defender and would like to know if Stevie Smith will be back again soon.

Fingers crossed, but the team has a better balance and strength-in-depth about it now.

GLAD to see Ibrox getting Recaro seats in the dugouts, not before time, the same goes with the electronic advertising boards which look so much better.

Sir David MurrayI still hope for a major facelift to the stadium and the capacity to be increased to 70000.

I would love to see Ibrox back where it belongs as the best stadium in Britain if not Europe. Good luck with the team.

J. Brydon

I have just watched the interview with Sir David Murray and must say I support everything he said in relation to both the Cuellar sale and the unfortunate loss to Kaunas.

We are in good hands and I sincerely hope we can go on to take the title this year.

Let's face it we handed the league to Celtic last season in a gift wrapped box - but not this year.

They were and are poor but we were victims of our own success and the totally unhelpful attitude of whoever is responsible for the scheduling didn't help.

Sir David has been outstanding for the Gers and anyone who critisises him should be ashamed of themselves. They are not true supporters.

The confirmation of signing Davis is exceptional news and I can only look forward to Walter and Ally ensuring we secure the league.

Please pass on my best wishes to all at Rangers, we are the people!
