CHRISTIAN  Dailly, Barry Ferguson, Lee McCulloch and Allan McGregor have all been withdrawn from the Scotland squad for Wednesday's friendly with Croatia.

Dailly is nursing a broken bone in the small toe of his right foot and he was pulled out of George Burley's inaugural match as manager yesterday.

Lee McCullochHe has been joined by skipper Ferguson and midfield man McCulloch, who are also unable to face the Croatians.

Ferguson, of course, is troubled by an ankle problem which forced a visit to a specialist in England last week were he received an injection.

McCulloch has been having problems with a thigh injury which flared up again after Saturday's 2-1 win over Hibs.

And at lunchtime today McGregor also dropped out of the squad.

That leaves just Kris Boyd with the Scotland group while Stevie Naismith is with the under-21s who play Finland at Pittodrie on Wednesday ahead of the full international with Croatia at Hampden.

Sasa Papac has gone to join Bosnia for their friendly with Macedonia, Steve Davis is in Belast for Northern Ireland's game with Georgia while Brahim Hemdani is with the Algerian squad and Thomas Buffel could play for Belgium against Morocco

Dailly, Ferguson and McCulloch will now receive treatement at Murray Park and it is expected that all three WILL be fit to face Celtic in Saturday's lunchtime showdown at Ibrox.
