THE ticketing announcement from the Club at the weekend has been well received by the Rangers fans, with many of them contacting the Assembly over the last couple of days to give their support to the scheme.

Assembly president Jim TempletonThe freeze on adult season tickets and more importantly, the 1/3 off the price of the kids' season tickets, is a move that directly benefits the fans and encourages families coming to Ibrox again - something all fans want to see.

Jim Templeton, President of the Rangers Assembly, said: "We've had numerous fans speak to us over the last few days and already know of a number of guys who are going to buy their kids season tickets for the first time.

"The Club should be commended for taking these steps and for putting in place some of the other benefits for kids, such as the children's AGM and free access to a training day at Ibrox.

"Since its inception, the Assembly has campaigned for a reduction in juvenile prices across Scottish football and we're pleased to see our Club is taking the lead on this when it comes to season tickets.

"The reaction from the fans has been really positive as many of us want to see more kids at Ibrox so that we know the future of the Club is safe and our support will continue to grow."
