RANGERS have picked a powerful line-up for tonight's friendly with Clyde which has the added spice of Laudrup, Albertz and Numan appearing for John Brown's team.

Brahim Hemdani makes his first appearance of the pre-season campaign in a central midfield role beside Kevin Thomson.

Indeed the line-up Walter Smith has chosen might not be too far away from the side that will play in Europe next week.

Regular keeper Allan McGregor is also back for his first game since ankle surgery ruined the end of last season.

And it's Kenny Miller and Jean-Claude Darcheville who will lead the line.
