There was also entertainment from keepy-up expert Graeme Lightbody and the Rangers Girls Get Active dancers at the hour-long event, hosted by George Bowie.

At the end of the Q&A session, 30 kids were lucky enough to get asked to an exclusive signing session and goody bags and autograph sheets were given away in concourses.

Gary Hannah, 12, from Corkerhill, got to ask McMillan how hard it is to break into the first-team squad.

He said: "Jordan gave me really good advice and I took a lot from some of the other answers I heard as well.

"I had a brilliant time and it was great to see Barry and hear him speak. He was acting the way he always does and everyone wanted to ask him something. He was good fun."Broxi Bear and Graeme Lightbody

Alastair Morrison, 13, from Johnstone, came along too and he had a real day to remember.

He said: "All the questions were really good and the players' reactions to them were funny too.

"It is excellent that the club has something like this for us. I've met some of the players at Ibrox before but it was great to talk to some of them again."

Brother and sister Lauren and Arron McKissock came to Ibrox with their parents and were selected to attend the signing session.

They said: "We had a great time this afternoon and the best bit was coming to meet the players and get their autographs afterwards.

"It was a really nice surprise and we weren't expecting that. I've met Chris Burke before and it was nice to see him again."

Girls Get ActiveRangers chief executive Martin Bain said: "This was a unique event for our young supporters and was just one of the many benefits of being a Rangers juvenile season ticket holder.

"We believe the kids AGM was a first for any UK club and as our young fans are the lifeblood of our club in years to come, it is important our young supporters feel part of the Rangers family."

"The club is keen to encourage more families and children to attend games at Ibrox and that is why a third has been taken off kids' season tickets from last season's prices.

"Season ticket sales have hit 42,000, the highest ever at this time of year, which is further evidence that our initiative is proving to be a resounding success."
