As a mark of respect to Dundee United Chairman Eddie Thompson who sadly died in the early hours of this morning after losing his fight against prostate cancer, the game at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday, 18 October has been postponed.

The SPL had dialogue with the Club this morning and it was agreed to postpone the match.

There will also be one minute of applause before all of the other Clydesdale Bank Premier League games on Saturday and Sunday to enable the SPL clubs and their fans to pay their own tribute to Eddie Thompson.

A new date for the match will be announced as soon as we have it.
