PAUL LE GFilip SeboUEN has not given up hope that he can bring in Austria Vienna striker, Filip Sebo before the start of the season.

A deal to bring the 22 year-old Slovakian to Ibrox seemed to be dead in the water when the two clubs couldn't agree on a transfer fee.

But Le Guen believes there is still time for a transfer to be concluded.

He said: "There isFernando Ricksen no news (on Sebo) but we will see. We have time. I am happy that he wants to come - that is clear.

"But his will to come here is not enough."

Le Guen also revealed he spoke to Fernando Ricksen, currently undergoing treatment in the Sporting Chance Clinic in London, earlier this week but had not discussed if or when the Dutchman would return to the club.

He added: "I spoke to Fernando this week, maybe two or three days ago. We didn't speak about his return. I just wanted to know how he felt.

"What happens now with him depends on many things."

The Frenchman also admitted he is looking forward to taking his Ibrox bow tomorrow when Middlesbrough are the visitors for a pre-season friendly.

Paul Le GuenHe said: "It's an important game for us. I'm looking forward to discovering the atmosphere at Ibrox.

"I have worked at many stadiums throughout Europe but everyone says Ibrox is special for the atmosphere.

"I'm looking forward to discovering that tomorrow. It's just one week before the real start of the season so this is an important game for us.

"We expect a good game from the players and good behaviour. I am sure we can do that.We have the will to start a good relationship with the public."
